Ray Quinn

Ray originates from Liverpool. he is a singer, actor and a dancer who first hit our tv screens playing the role of Antony Murray in CH4’s Brookside. at 17 Ray turned his attention to his true passion of singing, in 2006 he reached the final of X Factor which peaked at 12 million viewers and resulted in Ray signing for Syco records where he released his debut album called Doing it my way, this album sold over 330,000 copies and went platinum and gave Ray a number 1 album.

 

Ray has gone onto appear in some West End stage productions such as Grease, Dirty Dancing and Legally Blonde, Ray has also took part in some theatre productions such as Peter Pan, Putting on the Ritz, The Wedding Singer and Summer Holiday. Ray has also took part in Dancing On Ice and won the show in 2009 and returned to win the champion of champions in 2014. Ray is currently appearing in CH4’s Hollyoaks.

Jay Hynd

Jay Hynd has recently joined the BBC after leaving Radio City 96.7 where he was well known for being a part of Rossie’s breakfast show team.

 

He started out at Radio City working with the legendary Pete Price. He will be hosting his own show on Bay TV Liverpool when it launches on Freeview in May.

 

He was voted Media Personality of the Year 2013 at The Liverpool Press Club and has been busy hosting many events in the city including Liverpool Pride, Community Superstars and Evening for James.

Liam Halewood

Liam was born and bred in Liverpool before moving to Blackpool. Liam is multi talented with his career, from working in a sandwich shop to managing coffee shops. Liam’s media career goes from strength to strength, he has appeared in reality TV shows such as Four In A Bed and The Weakest Link as well as X-Factor and other current TV shows.

 

When Liam was asked to be our latest Ambassador he was very honoured and straight away signed up to do our annual “SkyDive For James”.

Jade Ainsworth

Jade is a well-established swimwear & lingerie & fashion model and has worked with some of the biggest brands over her 15-year career.

 

In between Jade’s busy modelling schedule she also produces a weekly blog detailing everything that goes on in her life from current fashion trends, local events to the latest beauty treatments and products on the market.

 

As well as juggling her career and outgoing lifestyle she is also a single mum to her little girl Jasmine and spends time running the family hair and beauty business.

Claire Simmo

Claire has a career in radio and works with Scott Hughes on the home run on Radio City 96.7 FM, Claire also works on HEAT radio.

Peek-a-Booze Cabaret Bar & Hotel

Craig & Alec Coleman have been together for over 22 years and working in the hospitality trade for most of that time. Upon moving to, and settling in Blackpool Craig & Alec brought their first hotel and never looked back, during this time Craig also resurrected his stage drag Alter ego, Cybil DuVaux and starting fronting a brand new bar/ hotel, which just four years ago they purchased off the original owner and ‘ Cybil DuViax’s Peek-a-Booze’ was born. Since then, the venue has gone from strength to strength.

 

Craig & Alec have always taken an active role in their local LGBT community and been involved in many fund-raising schemes, including Blackpool pride, cancer research & MacMillan. In March 2018, with the relaunch of the refurbished bar area and that start of the new Blackpool summer season Craig & Alec have decided to support The James Bulger trust as their chosen charity.

 

Craig & Alec have also hosted their own fund raiser and been implemental in helping to organise two fund raisers in Blackpool, the spring show, at their own venue and the winter show which will be held at another major Blackpool hotel in November.
